How does it work?

Our thermal paints have high anti-condensation, anti-mould properties, ideal for use in high humidity environments. They are loaded with insulating hollow spheres derived from specialist nano technologies.

On inside walls, their reflective properties prevent heat absorption. Instead, the heat is reflected back into the room to create a more uniform, comfortable temperature from floor to ceiling.

On outside walls, the high degree of reflectivity dissipates most of the heat from the sun. This maintains a fresher internal environment, an improvement in the quality of living and savings on air conditioning costs.

Why choose them?

The reasons for choosing these special paints are many.

Their insulating microspheres and anti-condensation properties prevent cold surfaces on which moisture condensation and mould formation rely.

Their heat reflectivity offers several advantages. Internally, it avoids heat dispersion through the walls. This allows for a balanced, comfortable room temperature and reduced heating costs.

On the outside walls, their reflectivity ensures that most of the heat in the form of sunlight is transferred away from the structure. This is particularly beneficial with our white paints. Furthermore, since they are all waterproof but breathable vapour-based paints, they will prevent the walls getting wet and internal moisture transfer.

Thermal paints form thin layers and as such, cannot be considered substitutes for a traditional base coat of paint. Nevertheless, they should be seen as an excellent addition to the painting of any building.
